The Society of St Vincent de Paul has been in Dalkey for many years. We have 8 volunteers who respond to requests for help within the immediate area. Usually, the problems relate to money pressures and we are always able to help. We support people to stay in education and this is the surest way to enable them to escape the poverty trap. Everything we do is supported by the generosity of the people of Dalkey. To support our Annual Appeal please donate to St. Vincent de Paul, Dalkey, through the following link: https://www.svp.ie/fundraiser/dalkey-conference-annual-appeal-2023/

Lord, as I prepare to sit my exams send your Holy Spirit to guide me and be with me. Thank you for the many talents and gifts you have given me and for the opportunity of education. Keep me calm. Help me do the best I can on the day of my exam. Help me to remember all that I have studied, to express it clearly and to answer the questions as best that I can. Give me peace, understanding and wisdom and Be with me today and always, Amen
